Scream And Run game modes

Scream And Run game modes on the Roblox page are Hide And Seek, Free Roam, and Escape. Each name has a matching place inside universe 10761687472: Hide And Seek at place 131376748800957, Free Roam Mode at 137414188212502, plus Escape places such as Mines Escape. Pick a mode before you join a 50-player server, because the place you land in is the mode. Community footage adds a Hide And Seek cat role; that role is observed, not a studio manual.

Escape

Search backpacks for keys and unlock the exit while hunted.

Escape is the key-hunt mode the experience description is written around. School, Mines Escape, and the Play Place escape badge all sit on this verb.

Hide And Seek

Official launch mode with dedicated Hide And Seek places.

Matching places include Hide And Seek, Play Place Hide And Seek, and Hide And Seek Mines. Community shorts show a player acting as the cat in this mode.

Free Roam

Official launch mode with a Free Roam Mode place.

Free Roam Mode and Play Place FreeRoam are the named places. The experience page lists the mode; it does not publish a separate scoring table for it.

Escape as the key hunt

Escape is the mode whose job is written on the experience page: search backpacks for keys, unlock the exit, avoid the hunter. If you joined Scream And Run because of that sentence, this is the mode to load. School is the classroom version. Mines Escape is the track version. Play Place awards You Escaped Play Place when the same verb succeeds on that structure.

Escape badges are the only win-rate table the universe publishes. They are not Hide And Seek badges and they are not Free Roam badges. If you want a number for how often a clear happens, read Badges after you pick Escape, not before. A Hide And Seek join will not increment Escape The Cat In The Hat.

Because servers hold 50 players, an Escape round is a crowd moving through the same bags. The hunter still has line of sight. Mode choice does not change the five keyboard actions; it changes which place ID you load and which badge can fire.

Hide And Seek places

Hide And Seek is listed on the experience page and backed by three named places: Hide And Seek, Play Place Hide And Seek, and Hide And Seek Mines. That is more geographic coverage than Free Roam, which has two named places. If you want the Play Place structure without the Escape badge, the Hide And Seek variant is the place ID 103236293849115.

HatiPG's short shows Hide And Seek letting a player act as the cat, and it also shows a coloured-key search. The cat role is community footage, not a studio rulebook. Use it as a warning that this mode can flip who hunts, then go in ready to either hide or chase. Do not expect the Escape checklist to award a badge from a Hide And Seek join.

Mines has its own Hide And Seek place (107495665732928) next to Mines Escape (112921251894333). Same geography family, different mode place. Check the place name on the loading card before you assume you are in a key hunt.

Free Roam places

Free Roam is the third launch mode. The universe lists Free Roam Mode and Play Place FreeRoam. There is no Free Roam badge in the seven-badge table. If you load this mode to learn the layout of Play Place or the lobby without a timer, that matches the place names. If you load it expecting You Escaped Play Place, you are in the wrong mode.

Free Roam still uses Run, Crouch, Crawl, Slide, and Flashlight. The hunter stills exist in the same universe media set. What the mode does not publish is a win condition. Treat it as a layout walk. When you are done walking, switch to Escape for the backpack job or Hide And Seek for the cat-role footage.

The root lobby place is named Scream And Run and uses place ID 113481077323469 — the same ID as the public experience. Mode places hang off that lobby. You still join through the official experience page; the mode list is how you choose which child place to enter.

Picking a mode tonight

Want a badge: load Escape on School, Mines Escape, or a Play Place escape join, then check the matching row on Badges. Want a layout walk: load Free Roam Mode or Play Place FreeRoam. Want the cat role that community shorts show: load a Hide And Seek place and read the role list before you move.

A 50-player server can mix people who wanted different modes if they ignored the place name. The loading card is the check. Hide And Seek Mines is not Mines Escape. Play Place Hide And Seek is not Play Place FreeRoam. The IDs on Maps are the tie-breaker when the card text is small.

Mode choice does not change The Cat in the Hat stills on School, the train still on Mines, or the clown still on Play Place. It changes which place ID you enter and which badge can fire. Pick the place first, then play. A wrong Hide And Seek join will not grant Escape The Cat In The Hat even if you still find a key.
